This is an exciting opportunity to help manage marketing related tasks for one of the web’s premier B2B sites, Business.com. Business.com Media is looking for an experienced Sr. SEO Project Manager to help manage day to day online marketing related activities. This position will work and report to the director of marketing.
The Sr. SEO Project Manager will be responsible to help manage online marketing strategies internally and externally, manage different vendors, tools, communications, reporting and benchmarking, work with programmers on different tasks and ensure progress in a reasonable amount of time.
Responsibilities
- Day to day project management of the company’s SEO initiatives, including implementation of internally and externally led initiatives.
- Optimization of the company’s existing SEO efforts.
- Be current on all SEO best-practices, trends and tactics.
- Help optimize paid search campaigns across Google and Yahoo!/Bing.
- Coordinate between various departments, including Product and Technology, to ensure seamless execution on new marketing efforts.
- Identify, test and scale new traffic acquisition channels.
- Assist in creation and delivery of regular and ad hoc reports.
- QA work produced by programmers to ensure validity and alignment with initial strategy
- Ability to constantly assess and evaluate online marketing efforts to ensure results.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of online marketing experience.
- Solid understanding of organic traffic acquisition strategies and track record of achieving SEO gains.
- Experience managing various marketing campaigns.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills a must.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced and fluid environment.
- Ability to conceptualize high-level strategies and willingness to actively participate tactically.
