I apologize for the blog silence but I’ve been preoccupied with other things this week.
I don’t want to go into detail, there are hordes of media here providing that. But put it this way: my city has pretty much collapsed and I can see the quake epicentre from my house.
Will try to recommence posting regularly when life returns to some semblance of normality.
Thanks for your patience.
You and your city are in my prayers.
I am sure it was you I caught on TV a few days ago….your house looked wrecked.
Christhcurch is my home town; my family are still there. I know what you are going through.
I grieve for the loss of life and the loss of all those building that make Christchurch what it is.
@Craig, if you mean the 6pm with George Negus show, yes that was me. Thanks for your kind words.
Hey Kalena,
Thinking of you Kalena. Really hope you are managing through it okay. Best, Sarah

Didn’t realize that you were in this area. Are you getting supplies and assistance from the outside? If there’s anything that we can do out here to help, let us know.
Stay safe. My prayers are with you.
Hello Kalena
Having family in Christchurch has kept me up to date with how awfully difficult things are in your city at the moment. I just wanted to say that I am so sorry for the things you may have lost and the struggle you must be enduring. May things come together for you and all Christchurch residents soon.
Warm wishes
Birgitt
