I would have been a part of your jokes. Most of the time, they reply from canned replies which are suggested by the system. The executives just cut and paste it to you. Sometimes being so smart actually makes one dumb to the point that they can't even see what's obvious. In this case it sounds like a case of just not listening properly and not addressing the questions being asked mixed in with jumping to the wrong conclusions. Disapproved ads for incorrect display URL (because of the redirects). I then spent the best part of 6 hours trying to get hold of someone at Google - to no avail. It took over 24 hours for the ads to be manually approved - alot of lost revenue in that time! You would have thought that Google and Doubleclick would be working 'closer' together these days!
