To a non-programmer, creating many of the solutions above are out of my reach. There are, however, a couple of things that the more ordinary amongst us can do to be inclusive. Firstly a pet hate is seeing images with either no alt-text or an entry that says 'photo' or 'image'. E.g. Body text = 'see the diagram for an explanation of the results'; img = diagram.jpg; alt-text = 'diagram'. Doh! The other thing that we can do is continually reinforce the message. Disability is often kept invisible and people need to be reminded that accessibility (and usability) is a requirement, not just an add on if you happen to be feeling a bit PC that day. Cheers!
