Twestival Christchurch

You may have heard about Twestival – which brings together Twitter communities for an evening of fun and to raise money and awareness for charity: water. On 12 February 2009, over 175 cities around the world hosted Twestivals and Christchurch was one of them.
I attended Twestival Christchurch last night at the very trendy venue His Lordships Bar and Cafe and although there were only a handful of us in attendance, we still had a good time and felt good knowing we were doing our bit for charity. It was great to meet tweeps @girlstoys, @zodal, @nickmccabe and @nzbase (who was probably the first blogger in New Zealand and gave me the inspiration to start my own blog!)
